Driver's Power Seat - Controls Failed

Driver's power seat controls stopped working.

Seat position memory setting controls also failed.

Truck only has 2,200 miles on the ODOMETER.

What's next?

What next? Take the truck to the dealer and get the seat fixed. And I was able to come up with that suggestion without needed a degree in rocket science. Good Lord man, your truck has an excellant warranty from the manufacturer. Use it and quit whining. BTW, to avoid getting this truck stolen, suggest you move far from your present location.

Go buy a Tundra like my neighbor did.

Only problem he's had is.....

New diff, engine stalls, new radio and his pass window won't go down.

Oh yea, almost forgot, we went off roading and his bed hit the back of his cab.

Right on Cap!

When I said, "What Next?", what I meant was, "What the hell's gonna go wrong from here?"

Oh, and Man, I would love nothing more than to get the hell out and away from this cesspool of a city that I'm surviving in. I call it surviving, cause this sure isn't my idea of living! I'm looking to move on up to Hattiesburg, MS.

I love when we hear this stuff.. I hate the guys who think the Jap's are the best.

I own Yamaha snowmobiles and there good but lack alot in some areas..

My Juki sewing machine is the same way..

UPDATE: Ok, here's what's going on for now.

I brought the truck in this morning, and they were able to get right on it. Unfortunately though, it's not a blown fuse or faulty relay. So, now they have to trace wires to try and hunt down a possible short that may be lingering in a circuit. So, I suppose what this means is that the technicians are going to start ripping my truck's interior apart - dash, panels, etc.

Bottom line, who knows when I'm going to get this beast back in my driveway.

And for those that believe Jap trucks are the way to travel; well they weren't the way to go for me. The last good Toyota that I owned was back in 1996 - a Tacoma. I then purchased a 2001 Tundra - POS Lemon Garbage! Then tried my luck again with a 2003 Tundra - Once again POS Trash Garbage. Finally, I purchased my 2005 Ford Super Duty Lariat 4x. It was the best vehicle that I've ever owned - that is until some turd decided to steal it from my driveway last November. But then again, look at my current situation with .

I sure hope that my luck improves soon, cause things aren't looking too good for now. I need to work; therefore, I need my truck for work. For now, my truck is parked and so am I.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

No signal was being received from the driver's seat module - located under the seat. The driver's seat was removed to allow access to the module. From the factory, the module's harness was not fully engaged. From that point it was probably knocked completely loose at the car wash while they were vacuuming under the seat.

Man, all I can say is - Whew! I sure hope that this is the worst thing that ever happens to this truck. No more ; now I am .
