Question Dual Alternator Woes-Help Please

I am battling trying to get my lower alternator repaired properly. I have been through 4 different ford dealers to try and get this figured out but no luck.
Here is the problem: I have dual alternator set-up in a 2008 F-350 6.4l, the lower one cooked about a month ago and my mechanic told me to mkae sure I get a wirinfg harness when I replace it because it is a inexpensive safeguard. Well what a nightmare, harness out of the US takes 7-10 days and I cant wait. I get a used (15K miles) and install it without doing the wiring harness. All good for a week then I take off for 10 days over xmas and 2nd day i'm back it cooks again.
So I figure I do it right this time, new alternator and wiring harness. Got the alternator but wiring harness they sent me twice is for the upper alternator. So after talking to 4 different ford parts dept I am nowhere with this. The problem I have found is the Service Manual (ford official) calls the upper the secondary and the Parts (ford official) calls the upper the primary. Just verified this with a ford dealer in the Pacific NW.
So, I need an engine harness because 2 wires from the plug(not the positive cable) on the back of the alternator take off and go into the main engine harness. I can't find this harness, nor am I sure I am righ,t this is just what I have been able to figure out on my own. The Ford parts guys have been no help, so I am throwing it out here hoping someone has been through this or knows something about the parts numbers or any help at all. Thx in advance.

Figured I would chime in since it sounds like you are in a bind and a lot of people have viewed the posting, but looks like no one can help. I really am not much help either, but I emailed back and forth with Tousley Ford parts (think they are a site sponsor) over possibly installing the factory accessory heater in my truck. Yes, not related to your issue, but the parts guys were extremely helpful in figuring out what I would need and a lot of the details. They might be worth a try for the info you need.
