Re: ENGINE codes

Diesel particulate filter efficiency below threshold bank 1

Wouldnt have a clue as to what it means though. Maybe not enough difference between sensor before and after the filter?

Re: ENGINE codes

One of the codes I was getting. Ford knows about it and it is pretty common. Careful you don't have any after market intake or exhaust or they will try to blame that on you. I was told by mechanic it doesn't show a complete regen and this code will cause you to have more regens than necessary and ruin your mpg as long as code is showing.

Re: ENGINE codes

I have the stage 2 intake from AFE and got the same code. I called AFE and talked to one of their techs. He advised that Ford changed the size of the tube going to the turbo. The one on mine(AFE box) was a full 1/4 inch smaller than the tube allowing air to get in past the filter. They are sending me the correct size. So if your getting the code and your airbox is a loose fit call AFE to have a
larger one shipped to you.
