6.4L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.4L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2008 Super-Duty trucks. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.4L Power Stroke engine.

Ok.. I was off a bit on how many maintenance visits I get. Not sure what I confused it with but I will be doing a 5K maintenance schedule. I will have 20 of them. I asked Bobby what they get per visit and he said about $120.00. I just got my truck and have been reading about it all day. This service is part of what they consider the severe duty.

Honestly, I do not plan on doing anything that I didn't do with the other truck but I suppose the DPF has to be accounted for. I am ok with it. The 5 K will keep the oil cleaner, the less chance for diesel infiltrating the system. That is a thought.
