F450 Speed LImited

While ordering my 08 F350 King Ranch, I was able to view a DVD where the new Super Duty is being introduced and it was clearly said in the video that the F450 is being speed limited to 81 MPH. Maybe it is a liability issue or something, but that speed sounded low to me.

Re: F450 Speed LImited

Is it because of the tires? G.M. sets the fuel cut-off in their cars and trucks according to what speed the tires are rated for. Just about all the larger trucks are 85 m.p.h. max..

Please stay out of the fast lane in the 75 mph zones then.

This is why the 4.88's are to much for most people.

OK, Fine by me! If I'm towing I'm at 100k/h any way.
