I'm running 80 psi on the fronts and have dropped to 60 psi on the rears. Trying to lower the rear pressure until I have tread contact across the entire tire. Probably will bump rear pressure back up to 80 when I hook up the trailer.

The F-450 tires have a MINIMUM pressure requirement of 70 psi and should never be run below that. With the high weight capacity of the tires and lack of weight while running empty, it will be nearly impossible to obtain complete contact across the entire tread of the tire with out going below the tires minimum pressure.

Find a load/inflation table for that size tires, then go by that.
For example, the following is the load/inflation table from the Michelin Truck website. It's a bit different than most other load/inflation tables because it gives axle weight and not simply the weight on each tire.
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Code:</div><div class="ubbcode-body ubbcode-pre" style="height: 150px;"><pre>LT225/70R19.5G
Max load Max load
on rear on front
axle axle
---- -------- --------
65 10,400 5,510
70 10,880 5,790
75 11,440 6,080
80 1,2000 6,390
85 1,2460 6,630
90 1,2980 6,900
95 1,3660 7,280
100 13,960 7,430
105 14,460 7,690
110 15,000 7,940
</pre></div></div>
So go to a CAT scale and get the weight on your front and rear axles. You'll probably weigh less than 10,400 on the rear axle and 5,510 on the front axle when "unloaded", so you'll need 65 PSI front and rear.
When loaded for bear but not overloaded, you'll probably not need more than about 70 front and maybe 75 rear.
65 PSI is the minimum for that size tire, so don't inflate to less than 65 PSI, regardless of how light you are on an axle.

If that the case wont the center of the tires wear out before the shoulders do?

Close. But no cigar. Michelin and other tire makers say 65 PSI is the minimum.

This is the load/inflation table that was provided by Continental for 225/70R19.5G. Numbers work out the same as yours, but Continental said 70 psi is minimum?
My truck came with 90# in all 6 tires. haven't towed the trialer very far, but it rides nice with or without the trailer. i plan on leaving it that way. I'll weigh the rig with the trailer in the spring to determine my true TP requirements when towing.
