Fan blower stops at 6000 Miles

I had no air or heat and had to drive 50 mins back to dealership for them to look at it. Talk to them (Bobby Jones Ford Augusta GA) and they say they do not have a loaner car for my wife. She sits there for 2 hours for them to look at it and then they give her a rental care. 3 days later get my truck back and I drive the car back and they want me to pay for the fuel in the car. I told them to pay the 10mpg that I am getting in my truck that I had to drive here and the MNG tells me they should not pay for my driving. (ignorant about about it)When you pay $50,000 plus for a truck I would hope for some better service.
Buying a Freightliner in spring now.

Re: Fan blower stops at 6000 Miles

So they look at your truck within 2 hours of getting there, give you an rental car, fix your truck and have it back in three days (guess they had to order parts) and you are griping about paying for the fuel you burned in the rental car? It is standard practice to return the car with the same fuel level as you picked it up with. In what way do you feel they did you wrong? I do not get it..

The $50000 truck shouldn't break down till the warranty is over in the first place.

Not a single manufacture has a vehicle that will never break down or have something go wrong while in the warranty stage. They are machines made of electrical and moving metal parts. The best companys still have over 100 problems per 100 vehicles.

We have multi million dollar compressors, turbines at work that break down all the time.

Its actually becoming more commonplace around here with most reputable dealers to give you a loaner car, and whatever gas you use is their expense.

Its always been that way with me any my Honda Dealer. The GMC dealer up the street from the Honda dealer is the same way.

Oh, and I also get Free Shuttle service if I want a Starbucks Shaken Iced Tea while I wait on my service.

Ive never been treated so nicely by a dealer--and their "Customer Surveys" show it with my top-notch ratings I give them.

Ford dealerships need to adapt this type of service, Im sure some do already, you just have to find a good one and keep them!
