I left of dealer at 11:00 PM when I purchased truck so it was impossible too check out paint job. The next morning I noticed what looked like finger prints around the hood on the passenger side. I thought it was just from the dealer prep and forgot about it. Today I went to the carwash and when I got home I noticed these prints are embedded in the paint !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know it might not be a real problem but concerned what it will look like when it is repainted.
On a more positive note I have read many posts on here how guys think that the power lags on the 2008's. I have punched this truck a couple of times and knowing that this beast weights over 9000 IBS have still left other trucks in my dust maybe I have a bad 6.4 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

It turned out to be nothing. Stopped by local for dealer and talked to the body shop foreman. when they touch up the paint some guys will put dabs of different shades of paint on the hood to ge a exact match then wipe it off right away. This time they forgot. He got it right off with some type of gel.
So my 450 is still problem FREE

I took delivery of my '04 on a rainy day(yes I know better) well I missed a bit of orange peel and a run on the rear drivers side door. Rest of the truck was great so I put it out of my mind, except every time I did a thorough wash and wax when I would see it again. This time at delivery and pickup, I will ensure the weather is bright and clear, daylight only and I will take my time looking the truck over. What is a bummer is my $15,000 Toyota Matrix has a flawless paint job, not one run and no orange peel(and it was built in Canada).
