Ford working on improvements?

Its obvious that Ford has heard a lot of complaining concerning the poor MPG on the 2008 Super Duty Trucks with the 6.4L diesel. Any of you guys working for Ford: do you know if they are working on any improvements we can realistically expect to see as an upgrade? I know that many on the performace forum are going to tuners but I don't want to void my warrenty. I'm hoping Ford may want to address the issue for customer satisfaction and Ford loyalty. ( Why doesn't Ford do a tuner??)
I guess with their very poor business position they may not have the money to spend on customer satisfaction right now. Probably wishful thinking on my part!!

None of the diesels are getting good mileage thanks to the EPA. My guess is that unless the competition can show marked improvement on their numbers, then Ford won't coin up for MPG improvements.

Remember ford can't put out any changes or mods with out the approval of international and the epa.
