Just bought my first bottle of fuel additive this week. I needed to pick up a pair of fuel filters online and I noticed they had the Ford cetane booster for less than half of what the local dealer wanted so ordered a bottle at the same time. I'll put some in today and plan on using it every fillup till the bottle is empty. I'll be making another trip to the Keys next month so I'll be able to see if there is a noticeable difference from the trip in June.

Ford Power Stroke Cetane Booster & Performance Improver, you put 4 oz in a 25 gallons of fuel.
I use the same on my 6.0 and have noticed a slight power increase. A mechanic I trust told me this stuff is a must to prevent injector failure. The diesel up here is not high quality, so I use additive on every fill up.

Tarponteaser I noticed some Ford cetane booster on a filter site I ordered some filters from but after I looked into the info on it, it wasn't for the new 6.4 ulsd it was for the 07 and earlier. Thats like today in Wal-mart I seen some 15/40 Motorcraft Diesel oil but after I checked the info on the back it wasn't the new CJ4 but CI4.

I've been using the Stanadyne Performance Formula in my truck since about 3000 kms.

I have about 26,xxx kms on her now and I can't really say that I've noticed a performance or mileage increase since I started using it so early into it's ownership BUT the biggest thing I noticed was that there was very little to no water in the separator after a few months. So little in fact that I even stopped draining it. (getting my bash suit on now... ) Yesterday when I did my first fuel filter change the filters looked clean. Even my my shop tech was amazed at how clean the filters were and how there was no wax buildup or residue for that matter in the filter pleats and he's been a diesel tech for over 25 years.
