Good grief, I am drowning

In ad overdose, that is. I know this is not 6.4 related but this is the topic I come to first. Holy mackerel, is it possible to stuff any more ads in the forum? Getting hard to read the original posts then try to scroll down for replies, information. Maybe worst of all, I have no interest in 99% of the stuff the ads are hawking. Ford got the truck right, I see no need to add anything under the hood.
Time to leave, my eyes are hurting from trying to look through the forest to see the trees. What was that new PSD diesel site?

Don't know but I had to scroll down past an ad for Pennzoil engine oil to read your input. Does Pennzoil even make a diesel engine oil? I have no problem with the site's owners making a profit on this site we enjoy reading, but wow, suddenly ads are more prominent than readers posts.

Does this help?

Somewhere I found a "Remove ads" option. Without it, there were advertisements stuffed between every single posting - literally - as well as staggeringly annoying "gotcha!" ads wherein all sorts of words, like "truck" or "engine" or "valve", etc., would be highlighted and if you made the mistake of having your cursor hit them as you scrolled down, a %$@! pop-up would then foul your screen. But it APPEARS that now is gone....

...maybe until the next time I log in?????

If you think this bad try powerstroke.org twice as many ads. Also owned by the new owners of the TDS

I somehow stopped the pop-up ads on my computer too, but I don't remember how. When the new owners took over I was very unhappy. But when I suggested that they start a 6.4 forum (to get the 6.4 owners out of the 99-up Super Dutys) and they did it, I was happy again!

That site does have a lot of ads,but it has a lot more laid back atmosphere also.
