Re: Got a new Cam Angle Sensor (plus great service!)
Wow, 7,000 miles. I haven't rolled over 700 yet. Did you happen to see where this sensor is located, back of engine? An adventerous trip for sure. I have looked at that crossover coolant tube a couple of times, thinking what you went through. The day I picked up our 450, while it was being cleaned up, I wondered over to the diesel truck service area and shot the breeze with two of the trusted techs there. They both told me they have had only very minor issues with the 6.4's, and this dealer has sold a lot of work XL's. When you get a chance, I would like to hear about your fuel mileage and towing ability during your "tour". So far, by my calculations and the computer readout, I am averaging right at 11mpg, town/highway driving with one known regen. Gawd, I love this truck.
