Has anyone seen this?

I have been keeping up with all the things going on with the 6.4. Been thinking about a new truck as my use is getting more and more and the 97 is just not cut out for all the long hauls as she used to. Don't get me wrong. She still gets up and goes, but just not as comfortable as she used to be. My son sent this to me. Hope the link works. If not, just copy and paste.

Re: Has anyone seen this?

If I could get my 2000 or my 2006 to do that I would be the envy of all my neighbors.
Maybe if I had a failed injector (hear the noise in video?) along with a DPF and OC then my truck would blow flames.

Re: Has anyone seen this?

Boy that's neat! I could take the Boy Scouts on an outing and at vespers we could all just gather around the exhaust pipe, start the engine, wait until it goes into regeneration, and sing, "Kumbaya."

Then when we are done, just turn off the key and retire for the evening. That would be awesome! Craig.

Re: Has anyone seen this?

That's Crazy! FMC needs to help these 6.4L owners out. This is just rediculous.

Re: Has anyone seen this?

I just posted the video because I thought it was cool. I'm sure Ford is working on fixing all problems with the new 08' model trucks. There has NEVER been a new model come out that did not have some type of issues with them. That is just going to happen. I'm planning on getting one now in 09'. Let them have a year to work some bugs out and then go in let's say $55 grand plus.

Re: Has anyone seen this?

The diesel in the video sounds louder than my '97 PSD.
What did they do to that thing?
