Help please!

Towing a friends boat for the first time using my truck, (2008 F350 SD) my problem (or maybe not) is when driving 65 MPH and I accelerate to past traffic my truck acts like there’s a governor preventing the engine to rev quickly, acts like it miss fires/bucks or what ever. If I accelerate slowly then there’s no abnormalities. Is this normal? Thanks for the help.

Doesnt sound normal to me at all. I would have it checked out by you local Ford dealer.

My truck started to do that slightly then died all together.

Mine was doing that took it in with 11,000 miles on it and the dealer couldn't find anything wrong with it.At 14,000 miles on it the motor blew up at 70 mph on the freeway I just got the truck back after a month at the dealers with a new engine installed under warranty.It took awhile to get Ford to come look at the engine,but thier engineers agreed it was non repairable.#5 injector and the glow plug controller seems to have started all the problems.
