help with sensor code

Hi. My ck. engine light came on today,so I had it checked out at Autozone.
The turbo boost control position sensor is bad. My question is where is it located so I can get one from Ford and install it myself? Thanks.......2008 F-550

Personally, I would make them do it, that's why it's warrantied. Make them do it until you HAVE to do it.

have them do it and they can point it out to you. I would also want the original type sensor in it, not a aftermarket one.

yes, it would be nice to know where all the dfferent sensors are located for future reference, so when one goes bad we can service it when one goes bad

Problem fixed. Ford tech scan revealed multiple codes. Tech suggested for me to replace the exhaust back pressure sensor w/tube and see if that fixes problem(heavy turbo lag/hesitation from standing start. Ford(Bayou City Ford,Houston) did not charge me for scan(thanks Ford). I bought and installed ebp sensor and it now runs like a new truck. Lots of power. I removed sensor from tube(old part) and found the tube and sensor all fouled up(clogged) with soot. This causes bad sensor readings. So this may happen to you at or around 120,000 miles like me. Hope this helps you down the road.
