Help trucks in limp mode

My 08 F350 6.4 diesel, Produced June 13, 2007 has went into some kind of limp mode. It takes off very slow, the Toyota Corolla 4 dr smoked by me, they passed me because I took off so slow at the intersection. The revs don't seem to go much more than 2500 RPM and It seems to be a chor to get up to 40km hr. I hit the highway to get home and it would not go faster than 80, its like im pulling a house. I got home, checked for codes, none, then I unhooked the batterys for about 20 minutes and then hooked them back up. Took for a ride and the same thing. Trans flued OK, smells fine. Temp fine, turbo is working. This does this hot and cold. It has 28000 km.
Any idea's whats wrong, I will be taking into dealer tommorow, But need a truck. Not to impressed as I just sold my duramax 2 weeks ago and will have nothing to drive

Thanks for any help

RON

Yep, its in limp.

Sorry, no one will be able to help you much without pulling the codes. It could be anything.

I assume you have a MIL light, too. How did you pull the codes? Some older scan tools won't work without an upgrade.

No codes with my reader, and no lights on dash. Dealer not sure when they can look at. Try finding a rental car these days, nothing available, I guess its the taxi. Well the computer was replaced once allready, when I went to pick up truck it (brand new) wouldnt run, from the dealer, so they had to replace the computer. Do the lemon laws apply in Canada?

Mine did that about a month ago. They figured out it was the EGR sensor. Put a new one in and I was fine. Actually two new ones the first one they got in was bad also, so they had to order a second one. I got on the interstate fine but when I went to pass a car after a while I couldn't get over 60 mph. Boost wouldn't go passed about 18 lbs.

Yep mine was an EGR sensor, I got it back last night. The EGR sensor must be on the passenger side as my truck is black and I wasn't too impressed with all the scratches on my fender and hope I can polish them out. The egr sensor was seized it said on the workorder. The dealers here had no mechanics for a few days as they were in a course. So I got stuck paying a rental for 3 days. Thats screwey. I will be contacting Ford customer service on this today.

rknight111: They, being FoMoCo better cover your rental fees, your truck is under a heck of a warranty. They should either give you a vehicle or cover you rental charges, no questions asked. Good luck with them, I've had nothing but good things to say about Ford when it comes to this kind of stuff. Again Good luck and God bless.

We lost the #7 injector while registering our truck in Delaware in March after an 8 hour trip from Rochester, NY. Took the truck into Millsboro Ford on a Monday (never had been there before) with the engine running rough and the check engine light on.

They never lost a step! Told us the truck would be ready by Friday and handed us the keys to a nearly new F-150 to drive. All they asked is that we give the truck back to them in the same condition and with the same amount of fuel.

Handed me an invoice when we picked up the truck that showed the work done and under warranty in the price colume.

Now, that's customer service!

Dave

have done 2 vehicles for this problem. the egt sensor on the rh turbo up-pipe had a problem with it. i knew that the sensor wasnt coming out, from previous repair, which required the cab to be removed. had to replace the sensor and the pipe that it screwed into because it pulled the threads out....good luck hope ur cage nuts dont spin...well at least for the techs sake.
