This squeek is getting bad enough to make me want to trade mine in and get either another manual (wish me luck finding one) or an automatic. The clutch squeeks really bad. It started around 15,000 miles and I now have over 21,000 miles on her.
Ford replaced the ENTIRE clutch assembly, meaning the mastery cylinder / slave cylinder which is all one 'part', and the clutch pedal assembly. That is all there is to this system. It still did not stop squeeking so last week I took the whole thing apart and lubricated the plastic actuator cylinder (the tube that the mastery cylinder actuator travels through) and the rubber bushing that protects it in the fire wall. I put it all back together and wa la, no more squeeks. I put about 30 miles on her today, and it is back to squeeking again.
Do any of you manny tranny lovers out there know a trick to this. I can hear it over my stereo! My wife says it is anoying has hell. What is the likely hood of getting one factory part going bad, and a new factory part that starts off bad??
I have the same problem with my truck. Mine only squeaks when it's hot out. I know, I know different brand truck. Same problem though. The plastic push rod that goes through the fire wall squeaks against the rubber grommet. I have tried letting the dealer lube it a couple times and then I lubed it with some silicon assembly lube and it still squeaks. I have just gotten used to it. It does seem to be getting a little better with age though.

It is funny you say that. I was just outside and tore off the neutral safety switch. I shot some lithium lube into the tube you mentioned that the steel master cylinder actuating rod travels through, and I accomplished nothing but a minor spot at the top of my carpet. Tomorrow when I come home, weather permitting, I am going to take the pedal off and remove that damn rubber bushing by cutting the part around the tube. Obviously I will leave the meat around the metal to keep the plastic safe. If that does not fix it, I may start driving with ear plugs in, the windows down and the radio up!
I have the annoying neutral gear roll over when the clutch is engaged. It is not as bad as the squeal but still annoying. Please keep us updated if you find something that works.
I too had a squeaky clutch pedal a couple of years ago. It turned out that one of the pivot points (I think it was the point where the master cylinder rod connects to the pedal) was getting dry, so I put some motor oil on it, and all has been well for a couple of years.
That was a really nasty squeak, and it was driving me nuts until I found the right place for the lube.

I never did tear out the assembly again, because the squeek is gone! When I squirted that lithium grease in the actuating rod tube, at first it made no difference. But then I drove it the next day, and the next, it seems like that rubber bushing was really dry, because now there is no squeek! We have gotten over 90 degrees, and the truck way into operating temperature, and no squeek. I am happy again. I hope this helps you guys out.
