I went & done it.....got me a new stroke!

I couldn't figure out which of the 8 million forums to put this on, so I put it here. Tommie Vaughn Ford here in Houston was running a special (understatement of the year) on all their super duty, 4x4, crew cab diesels. They're knocking $20,000 off the sticker, so I just got my King Ranch for right at $37,000 DRIVE OUT!!!! Thanks for answering my couple of questions over the past couple of days, fellas.

Here she is:

Lovin' it so far. I know the lie-o-meter is probably way off, but I had it consistently reading 17 mpg running 65 mph on the freeway. I'll be happy as a pig in slop if it'll run 15 on the highway. We shall see.

You lucky dog. Enjoy it. I think the '08 Super Duty is the best overall vehicle to drive even with the crummy fuel economy.

NICE!!!!!! There is a email floating around (here in CA) that is showing your dealers advertisement ($20,000) off. I can't believe the deals he's offering. Great purchase, enjoy the truck.

They've sold 60+ in the last 3 days. To say they WERE sitting on dead inventory would've been an understatement!

Congrats man. I would say I wish I had waited but in addition to getting to use and enjoy my new truck since April, I also have to face the reality that the trade value of my Yukon XL was falling day by day. Good for you on that deal!

Though I do not care for leather, that is a beautiful truck. I like Ford's blue. Like Newbie said, if I had waited until now, I would not get squat for my 2006 2500HD in trade. I did get $8,000 off last September, so I do not feel too cheated. There is no news in the Twin Cities of such a sale I have heard of.

I wish I could find a deal like that on a new Expedition. The wife needs a bigger vehicle then her Subaru and I like the new Expeditions. I guess I get to wait for the Diesel version some day if they ever put it in the Expeditions. Sweet deal though, nice looking truck you got their.
