11mpg coming home from Statesville NC - 130 miles with 75 on the odo when I left - and the weigh ticket on the CAT scales at exit 63 was 9100# even5200 on front, 3900 on back

While in Statesville I hope you stopped in to drop kick Ray Evernham for messing with Erin Crocker. He really let that team go to the pits when he had her on his mind.

the 450 is what we needed to pull the trailer we plan to go full timing in. Even though I have to work a few more years, the dal allows us to down size and go for it.

This truck is a great ride after only 240 miles. Going to work for first time tomorrw.

Really nice looking truck. I only wish Ford would offer more interior colour choices. Is the beige the only interior colour available with the Lariat trim? One of the reasons I went with the FX4.

The gray interior can be had in the Lariat - they call it something else now. Usually gets silver trim on lower body. A friend of mine with an Airstream has one.

good luck with your new truck ( you will need lotsa luck). I have a 450 and nothing but trouble, 4 engine radiators, exhaust flex pipe, high pressure fuel pump, and ford doesnt want to cover the pump or half of the rads, I dont recommend anyone to buy one!!!

Here we go. Don't get me wrong, I feel for you and the troubles you're having but with 3 posts, each on someone elses thread, telling them they made a mistake and don't buy is just asking for trouble.

You've got an issue that has to be settle with your dealer and Ford. If you dealer can't resolve the problem, find one that can.
