OK guys I have 2 7.3L and one 6.0 L now looking to buy a 2008 with a 6.4L to replace the 2004 6.oL

Just want to know if there is anything I should watch out for Thanks

Radiator leaks so check the seams.

Also this truck comes with a DPF to trap the soot. Check the tailpipes. They should be clean to maybe a bit of grayish is all.

Those are the big things right there.

Thanks i was thinking a DPF delete and corrective tune my worry is how long it will last or the major issues

I guess I could de-stroke the 2004

If you were brave enough to buy the 2004 6.0 you will have fewer concerns with the the 6.4. Just stick with the severe use maintenance schedule.
