Believe it or not, there is already a Ford Genuine Accessories web page which has part numbers for 2008 Super Duty hood deflectors and other accessories. Follow the link below and select Super Duty, then 2008 for the year. On the next screen select exterior and deflectors and view all to see 2 hood deflectors and some window deflectors as well.

Re: New photo's from Detroit

that thing is ugly!!!! what the hell is with that ugly black or dark gray crap on the top of the dash? and that ugly door handle? with thoose black insert panels around the buttons on the door panel? what color blind, pinhead, beancounter over ford thinks that those colors look nice together? did you guys see the old king ranch? with nice tan colored door panels and a completely matching tan dash board? the outside of the truck looks good, the body is basically the same as before with the new grill of course and head lights. all of it except those colored bumpers.

Re: New photo's from Detroit

Another vote for "ugly."

The '05-'07s look nicer, cleaner. It's a shame you can't get that style truck with the 6.4L.

Re: New photo's from Detroit

I think the ford looks WAYYY better than that Chev dually, the front bumper is way too big and rounded in my opinion. It looks like one of those mirrors you see hanging in a mini mart or in somebodys driveway that cant see around the corner to get out..

Re: New photo's from Detroit

LOL. I was thinking the same thing about the Chevy bumper. For Pete's sake, who in his right mind would OK such a design?

Notice the greasable ball joints on the KR front end? At least somebody's thinking.

Re: New photo's from Detroit

That front bumper on the Chevy makes it a completely grotesque truck:
http://www.autoblog.com/photos/detro...aulers/135689/

If they'd just keep the same design that's in the center of the bumper and extend it along horizontally for the remainder of the bumper (the front corners/sides), it wouldn't be so hideous. I agree... they look like giant convex mirrors in a convenience store.

The Ford's exterior is definitely more handsome than the Chevy, but I'm not entirely fond of either.

Re: New photo's from Detroit

Notice GM's refusal to suck the frame up under the body, and reduce the downward protusion of that gigantic front bumper, both reducing effective ground clearance between and in front of the axles. I know several guys who have hung up their trucks on the frame, and two more who have ripped off their front bumpers.
