No low oil pressure light/water in fuel light

When I start my engine after changing the oil the low oil pressure light does not light up. All my other vehicles have always momentarly displayed the low oil pressure light until the oil pressure has built up. The dealer checked the light and says it is operating propertly but I don't know how they checked it. Possibly they pulled the wire off of the pressure sensor.

Also my diesel supplement manual states that the water in fuel light will illuminate upon start up as a self check like all of the other indicator lighst do but my water in fuel light has never come on when the truck is started. When I was at the dealer we tried a number of other trucks and none of the other trucks water in fuel light illuminated either. Has anyone else experienced these problems or have any input.

It may be incorporated/combined into the "trip meter"(instrument cluster) but my 06 manual says there is a light. Be danged if I can find it though. And it has never came on, and the cluster has never read-out water or whatever it might say.

I know they are in the trip meter display, I should have said that. Neither light shows in the trip meter display.
