No power

This moorning i think i had my first dpf regeneration, the problem is that while the regeneration, the truck had no power,maximum speed of 45 mph (pedal to the floor) for at least 45 minute, than i stoped for lunch,after lunch it was ok. i also notice that during the regen, i was not able to use the cruise control ??????? is it a regen????? if it is a regen, i think i will have problem while on the road with my 15000 pound fifth wheel . i spoke with my dealer tecnical service. what do you think???

That is NOT normal. During regen your turbo boost is limited to around 20, and you will have a small drop in power. You had something else go really wrong. If you feel this again, stop and put it in park with your foot off the brake, if it is in regen the idle will go up to around 1200 and the exhaust will be really hot and noisy. Hope this helps.

Hi! Had the same trouble this moorning, now the truck is in the shop. for how long???? ( i'm a little disapointed about my new truck. it seem that it is something to do with hi-pressure fuel pump or something like that, i will let you know as soon as i know!

Hi! truck still at the shop since last friday, they had replace couple sensor + wiring, but still have no power. i will let you know as soon as Ford engineer find out what is wrong with my truck

there was an issue with the early trucks and a wire being pinched in the high pressure fuel pump assembly.i dont think it had a TSB but it may or had a service advisory

dunno, jusnt putting my 2cents out there but it sounds like what the ones with that issue were doing loss of power intermittantly
