I got a 2008 f 350 140000km on it I had it in my heated shop all day left and it sat outside for 3 hours in minus 30 cold temp. I started it up and went to town and it lost lots of pOwer and at 100 kph it's making 35 pounds a boost? And the turbo sounds different also the engine light is on? Could it be bad fuel? Or is there something bad wrong? Any ideAs would be great thanks

Was it plugged in?
Sounds like maybe a some fuel froze or gelled up somewhere, but it ran, and I assumed that it warmed up, so maybe not.
Can you get it scanned, I'm sure we'd be able to help more if we had some DTCs to work with.
O had it sitting in my warm shop all day And I drove it to my buddy's left it outside at his place and 3 hours later I started it and it does this. I put good condeshner in it I don't get why it's making so much boost tho? Like to get to 100 k it's making 40 pounds then set cruzie at a 100 and goes down to 35 pounds. I don't get it any other ideas? Ran so good before
I dunno I think it's a sensor cause it only does it when it's cold. When I leave shop in morning it's fine. As soon as it sits outside for a few hours it runs like **** at 100 mm it runs 37 pounds of boost and has no power. As soon As I put it in shop for night next morning it's good again. Then when I go to work and it sits outside again I start it and it does this again. Please help
Variable Geometry Turbo, meaning the vanes on the turbo have adjustable pitch that the computer controls to fine tune the amount of boost, rather than relying on exhaust pressure alone.
If they're stuck, you can have really high or really low boost issues.
I'd have a dealer take a look at it.
Are you getting any check engine lights? I would think that if the VGT were stuck you'd get a check engine light, since there are sensors that report the vane position to the computer.
I realize this is pretty old but my truck is doing same thing, and my warranty is up, spartan tunes with EGR's removed and intake tube installed.
Any solution I should start with?

since you have a tuner...any codes? How about your turbo actuator? Does is cycle when you do the key on?

Codes that came up were P2263 and P2563, cleared the codes and haven't come up again but still same issues, warmed up yesterday and doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. I'm going to change the EBP sensor anyway since sounds like this is possibly the problem, just seems odd this only happens when around -30C . Not sure how to monitor turbo actuator.
