oil leak and which gears do i have?

first i have an oil leak, it looks like a hanging drip like my 6.0 had, its right at the front main seal and balancer, any ideas? second how do i find out which gears i have? thank you

AXLE CODES:
37- 3.73
3L- 3.73 LS
41- 4.10
4N- 4.10 LS
43- 4.30
4L- 4.30 LS
48- 4.88
8L- 4.88 LS
53- 5.38
5L- 5.38 LS

There are some3.40's coming out now but don't know code.

Oprional taller wheels help reduce the final drive ratio somewhat - there have been several posts to that effect try search on this and other forums.
