Paint-like exhaust smell

Who else thinks their exhaust smells like paint?

I was idling the truck at work the other day and it really smelled like wet paint. No regen at the time.

Two of my coworkers also thought it smelled like paint.

So, does a clean running 6.4 (no soot in tailpipe) smell like paint to you?

others have posted sulfur smell,etc. it's normal.

Mine had the sulfer smell up until about 2500 miles or so, and then it just kind of went away.

i would say mine smells more like chlorine. it has since day one and has never changed. but i like the way CAPTSKUP put it the best.

I think mine smells like sulfur. Dealer told me it was "normal" (If you search the forums you should be able to find my thread).

Some people have told me that it smells more like bleach then sulfur.

W/e it is....it keeps people away from the truck lol.
