I just wanted to let everyone know that I am all smiles and giddy as a kid on Christmas for I am picking up my new 2008 F350 KR Dually tomorrow. Dealer did the recall (they automatically did it in about 30 mins) today. It is clean, fueled and ready to pull (in 500 miles) our brand new 5th wheel.
Here is a picture. All those folks reading all these negative posts lately should be cheered up to the fact that this truck is the pinnacle of trucks! Way to go Ford! I for one will not be denied.
Wait until in a few years that darling angel of yours asks you if she can drive it. That is a beautiful truck. I am green with envy. Probably won't have mine for at least another month, more than likely two. Did you order it, and if yes, how long from sitting down with your salesperson to the time the phone rang?

His sig says "(ordered Dec 30/revised Jan 24)". He picks it up March 24. So he ordered it on Saturday and is picking it up on Saturday 12 weeks later. That's a little longer than the typical 8 weeks it would take if you order today.

My Sierra Blanca is a '99.5 PSD CrewCab hot-rod Towing Machine! BTS tranny; TurboRamAir intake and 4" stainless turbo-back exhaust; DP-Tuner tunes flashed into an Edge Evolution tuner; ISSPRO EV gauges and TTM; AIC; SP-Diesel exhaust brake and torque converter controller. I special-ordered it new and plan to drive it until it quits.
I ordered mine on 12/30/06......I was told this past Wednesday, 3-21 that it was finally built. Problem is it has been placed in "storage" and my delaer is trying to see what that means and when they will take delivery.
Actually signed all the paperwork and saw the unit on March 6. A delay in the Manufacturer Statement of Origin paperwork kept me from picking up until this week. Waited until today to pick it up to have a date with my wife at the same time.
Unit is safe and sound at home after a very enjoyable day and ride. It rides like a dream and is just fine with the new reflash.
