Possible Injector or wiring harness problem

I was driving my 08 with 4900 miles on it. It started losing power and running ruff. The check engine light came on. I could not go over 25 mph. So I had it towed to dealer over the weekend. I got it back and they said it was the wiring assmely was lose casuing the injectors misfire.Reading my service ticket an it said circuit lose. So today i was leaving work and same thing happen again. I won't know till tommorrow if it is the same thing. Any suggestions?
thanks

Re: Possible Injector or wiring harness problem

If your dealer runs an Oasis report, they will know if it falls under the SSI 07T07 injector issue!

Re: Possible Injector or wiring harness problem

No injector (or wiring) issues. Actually, no problems to speak of at all! I had the dealer run an Oasis report, and this truck isn't involved in that debacle.

I'm not worried at all...even with picking it up on friday the 13th! LOL

Re: Possible Injector or wiring harness problem

Hey guys, first post here. I have an 08 F250 xlt s-crew.

Well I'm having the same exact problem as the OP. The first time it happened was at 1230 miles and they traced it to the #7 injector although I have a feeling it was more of a guesstimate than a definitive conclusion on their part. They seemed to be baffled at the code readings. They ended up replacing the injector last week and now today at 1306 miles and only 4 days out of the shop it happens again. I was at a stop light at idle and all of sudden the idle goes rough, won't rev over 1700rpm and engine light comes on. I limp it to my Ford dealer about 2 miles away and it's now back in the shop. Man, this is driving me nuts! I want to love this truck, but it's just not letting me. Anyway, is there a way to find the official Ford TSB online regarding this issue?
