Questions about problems

I just took my 08 f250 in because the rear elect window took a crap, so I wanted other things adressed also.
1- electric door locks don't lock when you start to drive
2-the rear view camera comes on periodically when in DRIVE
3- and the engine belt slips/squeals when it is hot outside and a/c is on

Service writer said he could fix the window but couldn't duplicate any other issues so can't fix anything. Is there anything I should do?

As for your locks have you looked through the setup menu? This is a copy and paste from the manual:

Autolocks
This feature automatically locks all vehicle doors when the vehicle is
shifted into any gear, putting the vehicle in motion.
1. To disable/enable the autolock
feature, select this function from the
SETUP control for the current
display mode.
2. Press the RESET control to turn
the autolocks ON or OFF.

yes, it was set up previously and just started to not function correctly.
I'm wondering if all theses electrical issues are related to something.

All I can say is GOOD LUCK. It always seems that a electrical problem will never show up when you want to show a mechanic but the second you leave sure enough, boom, their it is happening again and no mechanic their to witness.

When my truck was new, I didn't get the classic "ding, ding, ding" when I turned the key on and waited for the glow plug light to go out. It subsequently started dinging like one would expect, and has done it ever since. It's a very minor issue, but hopefully not an indication of future ghosts in my machine- no other problems except the crappy LS rear end, same as my '05.
