I ordered my truck on 1/29. It came in on 2/28. Is Ford that slow on work, or was I just lucky? I heard most ordered trucks took 8 weeks.

My dealer actually ordered one for me (but actually mis-ordered) two weeks ago. It is scheduled to be at the dealer on March 10th. I'm seeing alot more 4-5 week deliveries than ever. A few weeks ago, I decided I'd order one about the second week in March to hopefully see it after the first of June. Then my mileage will be where I want to be when I trade. Now, I'm not so sure I'll order one now... I may get it too soon.

I have never posted a picture, but I'll figure it out when I get the truck. It came in so fast, that the dealer was caught with his pants down and didn't get the BFG 12.5 x 35's I wanted on order. I got my seat covers and headache rack here at the house, ready for installation. I haven't actually seen the truck yet. One objection- I had to get carpet this time, because I couldn't get the audiophile stereo without it. In my line of work- man, that's going to be some dirty carpet! And you're right about the regular cab. It gets cramped at times, but I end up in some rough spots, and the extra wheelbase would be a bottoming-out problem. Not to mention the added cost, weight, and the "Queen Mary" turning radius on longer trucks.

I ordered my truck 1/21/2008 and took possesion of the truck 2/23/2008. I was told that orders are down.

I was very happy to get the truck in time for the 0% financing

My KR was ordered January 4, rolled off the KTP assembly line on Jan. 22, delivered February 6, 2008. I was amazed, the dealer said figure 8 to 12 weeks.
