Re: RE: Flamethrower

Not sure if it is just my computer here at work, but does the engine sound a little off to anyone?

Re: RE: Flamethrower

Thats awsome! I'm looking at the order sheet now and I don't see a BBQ option. That is going to be perfect for all the football tailgates. It will also make a great spaceheater!

It's probably the bad injector. I'm making the assumption based on the loose information that's being passed around on the forums and info from ford, that when this situation occurs, the owner of the vehicle _DEFINITELY_ knows something is wrong _before_ the flames shoot out of the exhaust.

Sounds to me like an opportunity for the mods to combine them and hopefully let others learn to check the first couple pages of a forum before posting "breaking news"

I'd almost rather see them do that then lock off topic posts...

Re: RE: Flamethrower

Maybe they will make a commercial out of this video!!! They use us like test pilots. the6.4 should have stayed on the drawing board a little longer along with the 6.0. stuff like this kills us guys that work out of our trucks.

Re: RE: Flamethrower

Read the last two sentences entered for the 6.4 in Wikipedia's page for Powerstroke Diesel:

"The 6.4 has already had recalls due to turbo seals blowing and oil into the exhaust stream thus throwing flames out the tailpipe. Typical Fords"
