It's been a couple of weeks now, and I love the truck! After suffering through some dealer trading problems to get my truck, it was worth it. I just turned 1000 miles last night, and it's running great. I think I had a regen last week. It idled up over 1000rpms when I ran into my house to get something. I hopped in and drove away, and by the time I got to where I was going, the regen had stopped.
The ride is EXCELLENT. I thought my 04 rode well, but this truck puts my old one to shame. Wife and kids like it, far more room than the 04 supercab. Fuel mileage is good, compared to what I have been hearing here. One trip of 120 miles with the cruise set on 70 showed 17.7 on the lie-o-meter (this included one mountain pass, but a total loss of ~1000ft in elevation for the trip) Last night's trip showed 16.8 (again lie-o-meter) for 130 miles. Hand calc for this tank was just over 12mpg, but that was 130 miles at 80-85 in a very windy thunderstorm followed by a lot of city driving.
This weekend I'll be taking the fifth wheel out for a short overnight trip, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it does towing.
