Remap Milage Question!!

So I have a edge race evolution programmer, no DPF and a AFE air filter. when i first put the chip in the truck i was getting 19-20ish for millage, then my truck had to go in for warranty work they reflashed me and i was getting 14-15. i took off the DPF and now i am getting about 16-17 and wanted to know if there is any way that i can go back to the original reflash my truck had from new, or if there is a different on i can get that will restore my millage i was getting before they F@#cked it up!!!! all these milage estamates are highway miles on summer fuel.

Is there something that gets screwed up under the hood when the truck tries to regen???? does the EGR valve sometimes get stuck partway open?? any help you guys can offer is GREATLY appreciated!!

Yours truly
Dallas Ostrom

just got back from Sturgis and i was talking to one of the engineers from the 150 design team and i told him about the trouble i had with the reflash. he took my info and told me he was going to take it back to the launch team for the super duty and have them get in touch with me directly!!!! (well see) but as for the rest of the guys who have this problem my suggestion is to call the 800 for customer hot line and complain. everyone knows that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Hell lets organize a call in pyramid and have everyone we know who has a super duty call in and complain about the millage. mine went down 6 mpg not a word of a lie!!!!

It will only take a few minutes out of your life and my save us HUGE DOLLARS in wasted fuel.

I hand calculated mine yesterday for the first time in a long time and got 10.7! My computer reading has been showing in the high 11's. Last summer I was getting around 14 or 15. I had the latest flash back in December. This is just rediculous!

call ford and loose your mind ask to talk to the supervisor in charge the day you call. i told them they have 6 months to fix mine if it isn't back to were it was when i bought the truck i was going to park it in my dealers lot and quit paying for it. you really have to get on them and then they might do something.
