Rotella T now CJ-4 - Diesel Forum

Rotella T Synthetic 5W-40 now has a CJ-4 rating for those interested. This is link to Shell site:

I bought 6 gallons at Sam's club a coupla weeks ago and it was CJ-4.

I bought some a couple days ago and just did an oil change yesterday and it didn't meet the CJ4 requirement. Now I read their article and it says this:

Improved Wear Performance - Provides a significantly increased level of protection against harmful engine wear when compared to previous generation API CI-4+ engine oils.

I hope this is just an advertising deal and I'm not truely using their inferior Rotella T. I thought the CJ4 was just supposed to increase soot carrying capacity.
