Some folk say its regen, I say bull-oney. That DPF is supposed to be hot enough to burn up any unburned hydrocarbons at pretty much any time except the first minute or so of startup.
I just saw a "blueish smoker" the other day, and it was shocking to see. I am used to seeing black smokers, but blue was odd.
The black-smoker I saw on Saturday was even smoking at idle at a stop light. It was faint, but it was visible.
I wonder if per chance, the DPFs are made by the same folk who make the Radiators.
I still have yet to see a 07-up CTD or Duramax Smoke, or have a deep-black pipe/cone.
