Sprayed in Bed Liner Factory Option!!!
In talking to a Ford paint worker at the Kentucky plant he told me that in mid year to expect a sprayed in bed liner to be available in the new 08's. The tooling is already in the plant. They are still doing some testing on when to spray the liner in. Weather it’s just after the primer or after the actual color paint is applied, or after the clear coat is on and then scratch like aftermarket (he basically they weren’t going to do that). They still have testing to do on that. They have tested all the different company's of sprayed in liners, right now they have decided to go with Line-X but that doesn't mean that they are going to stay with it, that’s just the best that they have tested for durability and longevity.
