Stiff Steering

My 2008 f250 with 4wd seems to be requireing alot of effort to turn the steering wheel. I can only decribe it as stiff. Sometimes when steering is required to get into a parking spot etc. the steering wheel will stick while turning tight and front wheel give the sensation of camming. I have approx. 17000 miles on the truck and these symptoms were in present until recently following and ac compressor replacement by the dealer. Any ideas welcomed!

How about going back to the dealer to fix the problem they created?

Yeah I wasn't trying to be a wiseass but if they caused a problem, then trying to fix any of it yourself is only providing possible excuses to say it wasn't their fault.
