Traveling to Mexico in a 08 - Diesel Forum

Is it possible to use the diesel fuel in Mexico? I'm assuming that you can't, pretty sure that Mexico doesn't have ULSD.

What happens if you use regular diesel?

I don't know how they were doing it.... but I saw a '08 chase truck at the baja 250!

The EPA (belatedly) noticed this problem and was talking about handling it somehow, last I heard. I doubt it's happened yet. They were talking about making sure the main highway fuel places had ULSD, for instance. They seemed to be thinking about the class 8 truckers mainly, not people heading off into the boonies on vacation or anything. It would seem to be a problem!
