Is this True?

Found this on another site, what do you make of it? I'm calling BS on it?

I work at a ford store DO NOT BUY THAT TRUCK wait my brother works at the ford provong grounds in az and the chinese little techs in there white coats are having big problems witht the turbos melting down BAD ok not pulling but when u get a trailer melty melty still they told him that truck motor is not ready to come out for 2 more years but ford is still doing it!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
Rick

see the fender vents in the pictures thats there attempt to get more cool air to the turbos per the chinese little guys but still no worky!

-----------------------------------

And this came in too:

Rick is right. I have a buddy that works at the proving grounds also on this particular motor and he said that have not been able to get more than 50k miles on one before it blows up. I would be extremly careful when spending that kind of money especially the first year out. But to each his own i guess. The truck looks cool but if it don't run then it ain't worth S%^&.

------------

Damfino, Wadaya think?
It's always the somebody knows a guy, it's never THE guy making the claim. And the fender vent comment,, I don't buy that.

Wish GM made something like it. Scared to buy the Ford after horrible past experiences but it's the only w#ore in town.

Re: Is this True?

I agree, it's always someone that "knows" a guy that said. There are people that spend all their time making up legitimate sounding stories and post them on the internet. Just to see how far it will spread, like a virus.

Re: Is this True?

I highly doubt that. I don't think that Ford would release a motor with those problems. Their A$$ is on the line with this one and I realy do not believe they would let a known disaster leave the factory. Probably some GM fans spreading rumors of something. I don't buy it personally

Re: Is this True?

That's not even a convincing story. Look at the style in which it's written. "little chinese guys"? They can't get over 50k out of one? No, I don't think so. Common sense will tell you that's a load of $hit.

Re: Is this True?

I take back my previous troll statement. I just talked to my brother, who was talking to his wife, she was talking to her cousin's brother's friend. He just got his new 08 F250 4x4 king ranch. 6.4L, he got 2 blocks from the dealer & the engine shut down!!! he popped the hood & the engine had melted!!! so this must be true. LOL.

Re: Is this True?

The turbo actuator will set a fault if it senses that the temps are getting to high.
