What mod's to do on my 6.4L?

Got 1,800 miles on my 08 6.4L F-350 Harley Davidson truck, will be a year old in Dec.
I don't get to drive the truck too much, I work out of town a lot.

Ready to do some mod's? What works? What to stay away from doing?

Which tuner to get? I know this is always a touchy subject, I use SCT and Diablo tunes for my Lightning. Have access to Bully Dog and Edge products also. Need increased gas mileage tune, power and towing.

Keep Stock Ford exhaust or change?

What do you experts on here recommend?

With the way Ford is doing finicaly and looking at anything to deny a warranty claim, I would leave it stock. That is unless you have the money to pay for any repairs.

All my local Ford Tech friends have been telling me for the past year to leave it stock. They said Ford sends someone(Ford Rep) to the dealership on just about every claim on a 6.4L.

Yeah, they said a new motor is 20K

Stay away from Edge and Hypertech. They are just cheap can tunes that have actually been hurting some motors. Look into Spartan tuners. Check out Spartans site and go to the links to some other forums they sponsor. You can't talk about what they do on this site, some double standard about legality. You can talk about intakes but not a particulate filter on the exhaust. Check out what people have to say on the other sites.
