What is my tranny doing???

6.4L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.4L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2008 Super-Duty trucks. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.4L Power Stroke engine.

Stroked & Stoked Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2001 Location: Tacoma, Washington State Posts: 425 iTrader: (0) My Photos: (0)	What is my tranny doing??? Situation - I'm under 30 MPH and coasting around a city corner or slowing for traffic with or without braking. I step on go pedal to resume speed. Tranny gives moderate to severe thump. Does not happen all the time but has happened 6-8 times. I'm in for service next week and will discuss with dealer. No codes thrown so far. __________________ F-350 08 PSD CC Long Bed. Auto, 3.73, Dark Shadow Grey, Line-X, LT275/65R20 BFG Goodyear Wranglers, Leer Canopy. 2 German Shorthaired Pointers riding shotgun.
