When are the '08's going to come out??? (sorry if this is a repost)

I'm reading so many different posts with different answers. I bought an '07 F-250 diesel in september. Unfortunately on my way to the airport, with the truck loaded with luggage so me and my new wife could go on our honeymoon, the truck was stolen while we grabbed a quick bite to eat.

If they can't recover the vehicle, I will obviously need a new one. I am willing to wait 2 to 3 months, possibly a little more if the 2008's will be out anytime within that timeframe. I read somewhere that end of Jan beginning of Feb is supposed to be the release date? As usual, all ford salesmen tell me that it won't be out until nov-dec of 2007, and none of them that I spoke with even knew anything about the new engines.

My current (stolen) truck will be paid off sometime in early december if it's not recovered, so waiting until february isn't a huge deal(Time to steal the wifeys lexus).

Any info anyone has would be great. Ultimately it may be of no use to me if my vehicle turns up, but it would be great to know. I'm willing to be a 6.4 guinee pig!!

Forgot to add one thing, since I've never ordered a model before it's been released, how would I be able to pre-order one?

Just got back from SEMA, and according to the Ford Rep there, you can order them now, and thye will be available in January as an 08 model, similar to the 99 being available in 98. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
