Wonder why the stealer, I mean dealer would say not before 6000? That seems strange to me.

I bought the sevice package with my truck. Dealer told me to come in at 5000 kms(3125 miles) for my first oil change. Second oil change is now due at 14000 kms(8750 miles.). I guess I'll just keep letting them change the oil as many times as they want over the next 4 years.

book says 10000 miles. Ford wrote the book. Why not do what it says?

Well that would make sense your running a larger engine aren't you? The F-450 if I'm not mistaken has a 12 Cylinder Engine. You have more oil and thus can go a longer period of time before an oil change. Almost as much as a Caterpillar...

I want a Cat engine in my truck. That would be sweet!

Hmmm, Where did you hear that a F-450 has a 12 cyl? I thought it was the same 8 cyl 6.4 that everything up to a F650 had?

If you want a CAT engine, look at the F-650 or F-750.
