Once you blew it out with a WOT, the issue didn't return for the rest of the trip?

oh yeah, it will return in about 10-15 minutes sometimes less.
pretty scary when towing an 18k pound 5th wheeler.

FWIW, I used to have this same problem, stumble on acceleration and a cloud of white smoke. I spoke to the dealership, but got pretty much the same story as most of you. Ever since I put on an intake, DPF delete and run an SCT tune, it has not done it once. Not sure why, just know that the proble has gone away. Hope this helps somebody.

I wouldn't mind the intake if by that you mean the air filter housing but I'm not even close to ready as far as removal of the dpf is concerned. I want what's left of my warranty.

Just read this post, my 09 F350 6.4 is blowing white smoke. pulled of the hose to the inter cooler "aka CAC" found no water but there was some oil? any new info on this topic? U have printed out the TSB 11-2-2 and was going to talk to dealership and she what they say? My 36000 mile warranty is up but would they replace this? Any help from anyone would be great!!

There is no real cure except full use of the throttle to keep it clear.

I have never ever had this condition even in the most humid or rain conditions. I attribute that to my use.

Lots of towing requiring boost and full throttle applications means I move alot of air.

The oil is from your CCV that ties into your intake. It is normal to have oil in there. It is an emissions thing.
