white smoke(i read the other threads)

Wife drives the truck more than me, but i've noticed it a few times. She says it happens fairly often.
When the truck is first run for the day, and she pulls out to head down the road the truck lays a haze of whitish smoke. any ideas?

Re: white smoke(i read the other threads)

Perhaps a little fuel left over from a shut-down-before-finished Regen?

Or, it could be an incorrect fueling issue on warmup. Are your exhaust tips black?

Getting thru the DPF is a little tough, even for unburned fuel, unless your DPF is cracked/damaged.

Thats my stab in the dark at it.

Re: white smoke(i read the other threads)

I'm wondering if there is an issue here, this is my post from earlier:

7am regen
7:15am got diesel
7:40am Pass car, throttle up, half past, white smoke-power loss, white smoke gone-power back.

How could it be a regen?

mines not losing power. its just a white haze, imagine if your gasser had 300K on it and was burning oil, same thing, but white.
