Won't stay running after filter change

I changed filters today and followed the book, tuen key on 6 times for 30 seconds to purge air. Turns over and starts, runs for a few seconds and the wrench shows up in the info window and dies. Won't restart till purge, then repeats the wrench shutoff. Any suggestions to help please!!!

You need to get your engine RPM up. Next time it fires off, stab the throttle. Increasing the fuel system pressure and flow will purge the air out faster...

that didnt work for me. I had to make sure it was a full 30 seconds, and i ended up doing it about 7 times, before it would run. I then took it for a drive to ensure i was good to go

I had to do mine 7-8 times also. And even after I started it the engine loped for a few minutes, then cleared up and idled fine.
