Whatever. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img] Just wait. I'm sure you'll own one some day - or some decendent of the late 2000 Superduties. Maybe even the 2016 version that will look possibly worse, but by then your good-looking 2000 will be toast and you'll be in the market. Then, your pride will be over-ridden by your want and need for a new rig. Then, the headlight configuration may be the norm with all makes and models, and you'll have no choice. Enjoy what you have while you can. Times are a changing. Get used to it.

I actually agree with you. I don't like the front end at all. And I am sure the price isn't any prettier. I guess I will be hanging onto my '01 a little longer than I thought. But that is just my opinion.

Everybody scared him off. But then why would you post something like this on a site or forum that is dedicated to these trucks.
Now for myself I would much prefer a 70's style body with all the new doodads but that is just me and something that will never happen so why complain about it?
As for myself I have found that every new truck style will grow on you. At first I didn't like it when they went to the new front end on the obs trucks like I have, but after a while it grows on you. Likewise the new 08's will also. I would like to see a tilt forward front end to access and work on the engine but hey these things were designed by engineers that take their trucks to the dealer to fix their problems. Also I don't believe that they never figure what constraints that the body is going to put into the equation as far a working on them. That is why for some work the body needs to be lifted off the frame to access some areas.
Now that being said I am looking at buying one of them what ever they look like in a couple of years, so if you want a new truck why complain about how they look. Just go buy one and enjoy the dickens out of it.
