I've done alot of reading but still have a few questions. Is it possible to run this program with the DPF & CAT removed? & with the program, It shuts off Regen correct? Does MPG really improve? Reason I am asking these questions are because we have an 08' and we gutted out the exhaust filter & cat for sound. Now when it goes in Regen Mode it won't shut off at all & white smoke comes out all day..Maybe because the computer thinks it needs to be in that mode, Thinking it still has the filter & cat. So we need a program to shut off the Regen Mode so we can start driving our truck again. & we've been looking at the SCT Livewire. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

You have to purchase the livewire with the offroad DPF delete program to run without the DPF or CAT. If you order a standard livewire it won't shut off the regen. Not sure if the livewire will fix your constant regen problem now though. You are looking for SCT #9623OR of offroad.
Can you also use SCT Livewire product #9621 with the OR OFF-ROAD Package? Because I know #9623 is the Extreme Version. I ain't looking for power. We just need the regen process off. Thanks

Yes, the 9621 will allow you to run the DPF delete tunes. That's what I have. I think the only difference between the 9621 and 9623 is that the 9623 comes with the extreme tune pre programmed and it has the EGT probe set up. I'm like you though, I don't need the extreme power. I run the tow DPF delete tune full time. I just wanted the small amount of extra power and a little extra mileage to go with it. If I need to feel some real power, I just jump in my Suby.

The 9621 will need to be upgraded to a 9623 before the dpf tunes can be added. There is a small upgrade fee to make the chnage over.

Maybe so. But all that I know is that i bought a 9621, ran the tunes, and then later on when the DPF tuning became available, I bought the DPF delete tunes and the pipe and away I went.
I've heard a bunch of talk about how removing the DPF gains fuel economy... I sure would like to hear some actual fuel mileage gain numbers.... is the fuel economy increase just coming from the removal of the regen's? Or is there also gained fuel economy from extra power of not having the dpf filter on the exhaust?

I went from 8.2 mpg towing my 7000 lb cargo trailer to 9.8 mpg hand calculated. And went from 9.7 mpg empty to 12.1 mpg hand calculated. All of this was all interstate travel running between 75-78 mph. I'm sure the gains would be much better at regular highway speeds running between 55-65 mph.
I have just had mine for about a week and had it on the highway for the first time yesterday. I got about 12.5 MPG on a 150 mile trip (all highway) but that was running at 65MPH when I typically run about 80MPH.
