Banks Six Gun

Has anyone heard any information about when Banks will have the Six Gun Tuner available for the 6.4l?

I talked to the people at banks and ordered the monster exhaust and the ram air intake...they sent a 50 dollar gift certificate for the banks six gun tuner and told me that unless further complications it should be out by the end of the month (Feb.) Since I purchased the exhaust and intake they put me on a call list to notify me as soon as the six gun tuner releases...as of now that is all i know, but ill post again if i get anymore information

Give us some specs and info. The website hasn't been updated to show what Banks brought to the market.

Yah i would love to see dyno charts to see where the power is made and all that is what matters for me most with towing!

One more thing i do not see how any tuner can be good for the engine! I have always woundered that?

Here's some of the base specs on it though I'll post up the dyno curves in here (as well as our web site) as soon as I get them from our engineering department.

100hp/220lb-ft extra at the ground (max setting)

Adjustable on the fly (no downloading)

6 power settings

Simple 3 plug install (no sensors to install)

Both the PDA and switch control versions have built in EGT limiting, boost pressure limiting, trans temp and trans slip limiting, cold engine protection, safe range turbo calibration for use at high altitude, coolant temp limiting (tuner will shut off if there's an over heat) and an automatic bypass mode.

Undetectable by the dealer (no program is laoded into the stock ECM)

Soot output is about 2% higher then stock on the max power setting (when at 100% throttle)

Soot output to is the same as stock on level 5 power setting (when at 100% throttle)

Soot output is 2% less than stock on level 4 and below (when at 100% throttle)

In case you wondering how we can possibly measure this here's the equipment we load into the truck to monitor it:
Drivers seat:

Behind drivers seat:

Passanger seat:

Center console:

All of our tuning systems are also being submited for CARB certifying. Which means when E.O. numbers start getting issued it will be a smog legal tuner

Any MPG increases with this programmer? I understand, in theory, power increases can give more mpg if your easy on it, but I was curious if you had any real numbers.
