Cool Banks Technicooler (sneak peek)

Looky what we got in today.......

Just a sneak peek right now. It will take about 1 hour to install (at the most) and be the LEAST expensive CAC available for this application. I'll have more specific details (flow numbers, heat rejection rates, comparisons to both stock and aftermarket) on it shortly
Keep your eye on the "Banks" section for more updates

We're looking at a release in 3 weeks and it will be quite a bit less than $1450

this is awsome, i ve really been wanting one to replace my stock one. will this do anything for fuel mileage? either way i cant wait to get one!
Also, this is probably really off-topic, but ive been dieing to know if any companys are planning to make an aftermarket dpf thats legal and will perfrom better than the stock one? Thanks, moose

more likely to help get colder air into the engine which is more power but not better MPG. But if you have an Insight and you look at ambinet and the inlet air temp TC's this intercooler and a different source of intake air should be helpful.

Too many factors to say that you will get "X" amount of mileage improvment. However, during our most recent test on the Dodge platform, we did notice that there was less fuel required to set and hold a horspower output on the dyno. In other words it took less fuel to make 500lb-ft at the wheels on the dyno then with the stock CAC system. The truck was otherwise stock. To say that this will translate into a real world driving improvment would take a bit of a leap. So the short answer is "it depends".

OK guys, I have some additional info that will be posted up shortly including density gains and a comparison to the Spearco unit and stock. If you don't what to wait give me a call at 1-800-438-7693 ext: 4122. I have a few units available now and they are about $200 cheaper than the spearco unit
